- Sunday 12th September: A very special day for BMF Brighton with three events taking place, full details can be found on the BMF Brighton facebook group page.
- Instructor Jon: missing last seen delivering hoofin Run Club sessions in Brighton. Jon is currently serving in Afghanistan helping our young boys and girls out there. He would love to hear from BMF'ers and his contact details can be found on the BMF Brighton Facebook Group. With the current weather conditions in Afghan it would probably be nice to send Jon some hot chocolate and warm jumpers. Whilst on tour and far away from home it is an amazing feeling to receive a full sack from the postie, so get those pens out and start writing (its free too!)
- Interpark 10k Challenge South:
Five events now complete. The latest event, the Pilgrims Run, was a close fought battle between Brighton and Reigate with the Brighton Team of Tom, Tim, Tara and Tarah pipping Reigate by one point. The next event is a beautiful run around the Firle Area. Lets get BMF Brighton to the top of the
championship with another big turn out of members if only to stop

- Lakeland 50 mile Race: Congratulations to Team BMF Brighton on winning the Lakeland 50 mile team event, speak to Dave, Tom or James for outrageous stories of 50 miles, 3100m ascent, smoothies and unfortunate chaffing.
- Brighton BMF "future" Bootnecks: Congratulations to Brighton BMF'ers Alex, Neil and Lloyd who have all recently passed their Potential Royal Marines Course and will be disappearing off to Lympstone shortly to start their long arduous training.
- The Brighton Marathon: Big chuck up to all the Brighton BMF'ers who ran the Brighton Marathon and a massive thank you to all the members, families and friends who came and cheered us on, what an amazing day. Don't forget that you can enter for the 2011 Brighton Marathon now, places are running out quickly so don't think about it, just do it. BMF Brighton will again hold marathon specific training in the run up to the 2011 event.

- Fitness Assessment: These will now take place on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of the month at 1800 & 1915 and the last Friday of the month at 0645. The scoring system for the fitness assessments has now been brought into line with EU recommendations, the league tables have been updated (Click here for details) Who will be the first member to join the NEW 500 club????
