- Benedicte Lapeyrere: Benedicte and her boyfriend are off to Nepal for a 3 week trek, aiming to climb Mera Peak, the highest trekking summit in Nepal standing at 6.476m high (that's only 1.669m higher than Mont Blanc!).
2 months ago, one of her friends had an accident: he fell from his roof,
fractured 4 vertebrae and is now paralysed from the waist down. He is
being treated at the National Spinal Injuries centre in Stoke Mandeville Hospital, where he will stay until Christmas.
They will need some help to adapt to this new challenge and the Spinal
Injuries Association is in a position to do so.
My friend has always led a very active life and spent many years in the
mountains. He and his wife met when living in Meribel and they both
enjoy the outdoors. One thing he won't be able to do anymore is precisely walking in mountains. That is why, she wants to climb Mera Peak for him.

- James Harding & Gemma Smith: On Sunday 28th September James and Gemma will be attemmpting the Berlin Marathon for the charity British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association (Blesma). One of their friends sadly died serving in Iraq and this is the charity his partner and family have nominated. Please click here and give generously.
- Dan Rogers: Dan is soon to be a BMF Brighton instructor and has just completed the 3 Peaks Challenge all in aid of Help for Heroes. Click here to go to his fund raising page.
